Melissa Solomon serves as General Counsel to Oakmont Management Group, where she leads the legal and risk departments with a focus on balanced risk mitigation and capital partner relations. As the primary legal strategist for the organization, Melissa is instrumental in navigating complex litigation and providing high-level counsel on enterprise-wide initiatives.

Melissa’s tenure at Oakmont is defined by operational excellence; she successfully restructured the legal department for optimal efficiency and architected a high-performance workers’ compensation program that drives measurable results.

A recognized thought leader in the sector, Melissa is a frequent speaker at healthcare law and senior living conferences. She also plays a pivotal role in advocating for the industry through her work on the legal committees for Argentum and the California Assisted Living Association (CALA).

Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University.

Based in Southern California, Melissa balances her professional life with beach days alongside her family and their dog, Aspen. When she isn’t cheering on the ASU Sun Devils, Melissa dedicates her time to supporting Laura’s House, a local domestic violence shelter.
